America has a big birthday coming up. Here in Pennsylvania, we’re ready to celebrate! The state of Pennsylvania is ringing in the 250th anniversary of the United States with new license plates and welcome sign designs

The Declaration of Independence was signed right here in PA, making the Commonwealth the birthplace of our democracy. According to Governor Shapiro, the new designs were created to celebrate Pennsylvania and showcase the things that make us great.

I love the idea of a refresh, but I think we all can agree there’s more to us than just the Liberty Bell! I was curious: what’s truly considered a PA staple? What would the new license plates look like if our crew took the lead? I asked the team to reimagine these celebratory items with the things that remind them of home sweet home:
